    Having had a nasty cough for about 4 months, when I also developed catarrh I saw my GP and he prescribed antibiotics; he also referred me for an X-ray at Brants Bridge, Bracknell. Because of a shadow in one lung, he asked for another after 6 weeks which again showed a shadow and he referred me to the Respiratory Medicine Team at RBH. In the space of just one week, as I was about to go on a long trip abroad, they arranged for me to have a CT scan and I today received a letter from Dr Curry summarising the results and advising that all was well and that these changes reflected a resolving infection. At every stage, the attention I have received from my GP, Dr Rothermel at Wokingham Medical Center, his team, the radiography teams at Brants Bridge and RBH, and Dr Curry’s Respiratory Medicine team at RBH has been outstanding. I cannot compliment them highly enough. If they are a true example of the NHS then it certainly is anything but broken as claimed by the current Labour Government. Thank you all very much for such wonderful, caring and informative service!
